Kings County Hospital Center Building P Exterior Renovation

Environmental Planning & Management, Inc. (EPM) performed an asbestos, PCB caulking and lead survey of the exterior facades, roofs and parapets of Kings County Hospital Center Building P.

The purpose of the survey was to identify asbestos containing materials per PLM/TEM analysis, lead containing materials per OSHA Lead in Construction, and PCBs greater than 50ppm, that may be impacted by the Exterior Facade and Roof Renovation Project.

 
 

Term Contract

EPM was the prime environmental consultant with NYCHHC for the following tasks:

Task 1—North Bronx Central Hospital:  Prepared Contract Specifications and Plans for replacement of four buried fuel lines beneath an exterior sidewalk. Bid Phase Support. Construction field inspections to ensure compliance with specifications. Asbestos survey in hospital basement adjacent to work area. Investigated excavated exposed soils; created NYSDEC Spill Number and prepared a Spill Closure Report.

Task 2—Elmhurst Hospital: Performed an ACM investigation at a parking garage where repairs/renovations were scheduled.

Task 3—Coler Hospital: Provided asbestos bulk sampling, reporting and air monitoring services in support of as needed projects.
