HAZARDOUS MATERIAL INVESTIGATION/ REMEDIATION DESIGN

Where there is a potential for hazardous materials to be disturbed as a result of planned construction activities, EPM examines existing historical documentation and site conditions to determine the likelihood of the presence of hazardous materials impacting the project. Where there is a reasonable likelihood of the presence of hazardous materials, EPM will conduct a detailed hazardous materials investigation.  

For the remediation design of the hazardous material, EPM prepares contract documents in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local code, regulations and laws. In the event that Standard Specifications do not exist, EPM will either create or utilize special specifications as required.
